The existing construction and urban continuity were the main conditions of this study. In order to increase the useful area of construction in this rehabilitation in Porto, an old roof was occupied, becoming the master bedroom with a terrace over the kitchen roof.
To ensure greater privacy and clarity inside the kitchen and common room spaces, an interior patio has been created, which can be used as an extension of the dining area. In this way, the program turns inland and the house becomes a refuge from the city routine.
